Holiday Short Film Showcase | Flippy Day

Flippy Day is a "Holiday Film" that swept the 48 Hour Film Fest awards of 2009, awarded Best Comedy in The Portland Phoenix Filmfest of 2010, and played at LAFF as one of the Best of. It currently is being scripted as a feature length film set to begin filming in Spring 2013.

Description:
What's a 'Flippy?' It's only the greatest roller skating trick ever performed! Or so thinks an oddball group of roller skaters who have gathered at their local rink to celebrate the legendary creator of the trick, Horatio Baldwin. Led by Holly Baldwin, a self-proclaimed 'activist' and the great, great granddaughter of the Patron Saint himself, Flippy Day embarks on a character by character explanation of what the holiday means to them in their search for community and camaraderie.

Written and Produced by Jeff Day and Michael Panenka
